Aaron Huey

Roles: Director

National Geographic photographer, Stanford media designer, and founder and chief creative of Amplifier.org, Aaron Huey has photographed over 30 stories for National Geographic. As the first global ambassador for Stanford’s d.School, and as a Media Experiments Fellow there, Huey focused on experiments using the human-centered design process in the analog and digital worlds. His combination of art and storytelling has resulted in the creation of the Pine Ridge Community Storytelling Project, Sherpa Photo Fund, global art phenomenon “We The People” with artist Shepard Fairey, and U.S. history and cultural heritage lessons in virtual reality that will become part of K-12 curricula across the US in 2019.
