The White House Effect to Open DCEFF 2025
On Thursday, March 20, the Environmental Film Festival will open with the DC Premiere of The White House Effect, a new documentary that uses archival footage to tell the dramatic origin story of the climate crisis and how a political battle in the George H.W. Bush administration changed the course of history.
“Essential viewing for anyone interested in humanity’s future.” – Variety

LA Wildfire Support & Resources
Our friends at The Redford Center have put together a list of resources to assist families and individuals affected by the tragic wildfires in Los Angeles. DCEFF joins them in extending our gratitude to those working on the frontlines to support affected communities and mitigate the impacts of this disaster.
“These fires are a tragic reminder that climate change is not a distant concern—it is here, it is urgent, and it demands our collective action.”
