Lynn Tomlinson

Lynn Tomlinson works in a wide range of media including animation, documentary, visual effects, sculpture, mosaic, and community-based and public art. Her animation has been screened in international festivals and has aired on children’s public television, MTV and Sesame Street. Her film The Ballad of Holland House won the Greenpeace Postcards from Climate Change: Student Film Contest and premiered at the 2015 Environmental Film Festival in Washington, DC.

She has received many grants and awards, including Media Arts fellowships from the states of Florida and Pennsylvania and Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards. She is currently on the faculty at Towson University in the department of Electronic Media and Film. Lynn was previously a member of the full-time faculty at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia for a decade, and has also taught at the Maryland Institute College of Art, Delaware College of Art and Design, Stockton State College, University of Maryland Baltimore County, and Cornell University.
