Krista Schlyer is a conservation documentarian and storyteller living in the Washington DC area. For the past decade she has documented the rich biodiversity of the United States-Mexico borderlands and the impacts of U.S. border policy on the region. She is the writer/director of Ay Mariposa and author of Continental Divide: Wildlife, People and the Border Wall, winner of the 2013 National Outdoor Book Award and Ansel Adams Award.
