Sam Sheline

Sam Sheline is an MFA candidate at American University and a scholar of the Center for Environmental Filmmaking. Sam comes to filmmaking as an avid outdoorsman, film lover, and most importantly environmentalist. He believes firmly in the power of film to educate and inspire people to save our most important resource: the planet on which we live and the other organisms we share it with. His debut film, Add One Back, about oyster aquaculture in the Chesapeake Bay, debuted at the 2015 Environmental Film Festival.
