Andrew Nadkarni is a queer multiracial filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. A 2023 BRIClab Film & TV Artist in Residence, he aims to integrate sustainable and community oriented practices into his filmmaking process. He most recently produced the narrative feature, Actual People, released by Factory 25 and MUBI, following festival premieres at Locarno, Slamdance, and BAMcinemaFest. He’s worked as a reader for Catapult Film Fund, production supervisor on the NY Unit of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, and production coordinator on the series Modern Love and Awkwafina is Nora from Queens. A film & TV graduate of NYU Tisch, Andrew has worked across the United States, Japan, Mexico, and Costa Rica. His debut documentary short, Between Earth & Sky, won the grand prize at the IF/Then x Redford Center Nature Access Pitch at DOC NYC in 2021.
