From my early childhood I loved being in the woods and walking through them. I got used to so many of them. Therefore it sometimes literally left my heart aching when I found some of my favorite forests cut out and left plain and naked. As if I’ve lost a dear friend. Thus, my goal for this film and my filmmaking in general is to make people fall in love with the ancient woods and vice versa. I know that a lot of people do not enjoy watching nature documentaries if not voiced by David Attenborough. However, I am eager to create the kind of film that even those, who do not like documentaries about the nature, would love it and most importantly would fall in love with Lithuanian nature.
