Ben Hamilton is a filmmaker, entrepreneur, and outdoor enthusiast. He travels the world, loves wild lands, and is drawn to compelling stories. Ben has worked as a freelance documentary cameraman and producer for National Geographic, BBC, PBS, Smithsonian, HGTV, Travel, Discovery, Military Channel, and many others. Additionally, Ben is the founder of Pioneer Studios through which he produces, directs, shoots and edits projects related to global and environmental advocacy. His work has placed him face to face with a king cobra, surrounded by grizzly bears, standing at the ancient ruins of the acropolis, subsisting with the Tlingit people of Alaska, and recording a dedicated group’s fight to save the wilderness they love. Ben is Leave No Trace certified, dedicated to minimal impact shooting, and is committed to producing media for a better planet.
