Guy Reed

Guy Reed graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (Los Angeles) and studied film-making in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. He is author of the poetry chapbook, The Ef ort To Hold Light (Finishing Line Press) and co-author, with Cheryl A. Rice, of the forthcoming chapbook, Until The Words Came (Post Traumatic Press). Two lyrical prose pieces of his were published and Guy read them on the podcast, The Strange Recital (thestrangerecital.com). He contributed 2 poems, performing one, in a featured role for the independent feature film, I Dream Too Much directed by Katie Cokinos (2015, 77 Films, Attic Light Films). He has published poems and essays in numerous magazines and anthologies. Guy works at a small company in the alternative energy industry. A native of Minnesota, he’s lived in California, Oregon and now resides in the Catskill Mountains with his wife and their children.
