Vey nou Lagon is an inspirational documentary that follows a traditional artisanal fisherman and his family as they tell us the story of the Mauritian lagoons and show us the current state of the ocean. The film highlights the local heroes and success stories of Mauritius and Rodrigues, an autonomous outer island of Mauritius. Fishermen from the two islands provide solutions and inspire others to take simple actions at the individual level to make a difference.
