Matthew Nordan is a Managing Partner at MNL Partners, which develops energy and environmental projects in China and other high-growth economies. Before MNL, Matthew was a venture capital investor at Venrock – one of the world’s oldest and most successful venture capital firms – where he drove investments in Nest Labs (energy efficiency, acquired by Google for $3.2 billion) and FINsix (power electronics). Earlier, Matthew was President and co-founder of energy tech analyst firm Lux Research and an executive at Forrester Research. He serves on the boards of Sense Labs, Quidnet Energy, and Greentown Labs, and is Co-Founder and Chairman of the Investment Committee of the nonprofit PRIME Coalition. He is a graduate of Yale.
