Roger Williams is a Gemini-nominated Director of Photography who has worked for some of the world’s most respected broadcasters and entertainment companies. While his career spans decades, perhaps one of his most memorable productions was working as Executive Producer and creative guru behind Canada’s Olympic Torch Relay, an event that has been called “monumental” in its coverage. His work has crossed from documentary, to reality, to drama, as well as commercials in both 3D and 2D environments. In the production world, there are few minds that can bridge the “creative” with the “analytical” sides of the brain – but Roger has successfully proven that it can be done. He’s not only produced entertaining and enlightening programming, but his company: Inspired Image Picture Company Inc. is one of Canada’s largest and most respected production service and rental companies, while at the same time he continues to shoot some of the industry’s most compelling images.
