Award-winning director Nettie Wild is one of Canada’s leading documentary filmmakers. Her critically acclaimed films have brought her audiences behind the frontlines and headlines of revolutions and social change around the world. Best known for her documentary features FIX: The Story of an Addicted City (2002), A PLACE CALLED CHIAPAS (1998), and A RUSTLING OF LEAVES: Inside the Philippine Revolution (1988),
her more recent work explores new forms of storytelling including: BEVEL UP (2007) a groundbreaking documentary DVD; INSIDE STORIES (2011) a website; and Uninterrupted , a public art installation (in production) using digital projection mapping to bring a wild river into the heart of the city.
