Jess Wiegandt is an award-winning environmental and social impact filmmaker and camera operator. Her background in experiential education and journalism has led her to pursue telling stories about conservation and passion in the outdoors. She is now a freelance filmmaker, working on projects that often focus on the health of rivers, including “Troubled Tributary: Maryland’s Patuxent River,” “A River Called Home,” and “The Grand Salmon Project,” a film currently in production.
