Ben Wallis has been working in wildlife television for 20 years and has filmed on every continent. He has been filming in China for the last five years – from its mountains to its jungles – and has achieved many filming firsts in that time. In THE HIDDEN KINGDOMS OF CHINA, he led a team that again broke new ground – filming predatory hornbills, a wild elephant calf and leaf monkeys eating moss. The special was his biggest collaboration with camera person Jacky Poon to date, although they have been working together in China for the last five years.
