Director and editor since 1999, Tommaso Valente has been a director and editor since 1999. In his projects, Valente  focuses on the relationships among human beings and between man and the environment. He co-directed with Federico Santini his last documentary, On the Trails of the Glaciers Mission to Alaska (2015). Ghosts of the Third Reich (2012) was the History Channel’s event for International Holocaust Remembrance Day. It was distributed in about 90 countries by ZDF Enterprise, History Channel, National Geographic and Aetn. His first documentary, Casilina Express, was screened in numerous international film festivals and received such awards as the International Prize for Mediterranea Documentary and Reportage (2005) and the Mediterranean Environmental Award (2007).
