Tracie Holder

Roles: Producer

Tracie Holder, a 2016 Sundance Creative Producers Fellow, teaches at the NY Film Academy. She was a longtime consultant to Women Make Movies and the Development and Funding Strategist for Abby Disney’s Fork Films. Holder is the co-producer/director/writer of Joe Papp in Five Acts, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and will broadcast nationally on PBS/American Masters in 2019. In addition to Grit, her producing credits include A Place of Absence and The Quiet Zone, both in production. Holder is currently developing The People’s Will, an improbable but true story of two rival productions of Macbeth in 1849 that led to a riot in New York resulting in the death of 22 people and marked the first time in U.S. history American troops would fire on American citizens.
