Norbu Tenzing Norgay

Norbu Tenzing Norgay is Vice President of the American Himalayan Foundation which is based in San Francisco. He frequently travels to his native Himalaya and is deeply familiar with the risks faced by Sherpas and mountaineering workers in the Himalaya.  Norbu is the son of Tenzing Norgay Sherpa who along with Sir Edmund Hillary were the first to climb Mt. Everest in 1953.
