Jacob Templin

Jacob Templin is a video journalist for TIME where he reports, shoots, edits and produces short video stories for the web and electronic versions of the magazine. He has covered a variety of stories from flying fish in the Illinois River to Chicago’s recent mayoral election, and innovative marketing in the new music business. Last year, Jacob co-produced and directed a short documentary film about Franco ‘The Great’, a legendary Harlem artist whose public works are going extinct as the neighborhood changes. The film was picked up by AfroPop and aired on PBS stations across the country. Jacob holds a master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of Journalism and a bachelor of fine arts at York University in Toronto.
