Priya is an attorney with Environmental Defense Fund’s Oceans Program, focusing on domestic fisheries law and national policy to ensure the sustainability of U.S. fisheries and the communities that rely on them. Prior to this, she was an associate at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP and worked on a broad array of energy and environmental legal topics. Priya holds her J.D. and M.S. in natural resource economics from the University of Arizona (in her hometown, Tucson), and a B.S. in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
