Rick Smith

Rick has a Ph.D. in biology and is a noted expert on the topic of pollution and human health. He has worked directly on chemical and plastic policy for 20 years and has written two best-selling books on these issues. He was key to Canada becoming the first country in the world to ban the toxic chemical BPA in baby bottles and kids’ toys. He is currently President of the Canadian Climate Institute, the largest climate change research organization in Canada.
