Sam Eaton

Sam Eaton is a freelance journalist and filmmaker based in the New York area. His stories and films on climate change, international development and environmental conflict have brought him to more than two dozen countries around the world. His work has been featured on APM’s Marketplace, PRI’s The World, PBS NewsHour, the BBC, The Nation magazine, and UN Web TV. Eaton is an associate of UC Berkeley’s Investigative Reporting Program, a Ford Foundation JustFilms fellow, and a two-time winner of the Society of Environmental Journalists award for Outstanding Beat Reporting, Large Market. His reporting on climate change in the Amazon for Newshour is supported by the Pulitzer Center.
