Peter Ensign is Executive Director of DC Greenworks, a non-profit that is leading the growth of a green industry that improves the environmental health of our communities in DC and across the Chesapeake Bay Watershed by restoring and renewing waterways, habitats, and communities – unlocking long-term economic opportunities for the region and its inhabitants. He produced a film Green Roofs: Riversmart Rooftops that is about the project to make Washington, DC the most sustainable city in the United States and green roofs are part of the plan.
