Otmar Penker

Otmar Penker is an Austrian Filmmaker and DoP specializing on the Animal Kingdom of the Alps. He has worked with hunters, game wardens and biologist for years in developing effective camera techniques to portray the alpine wildlife. He has worked on numerous documentaries, including Prince of the Alps that won more than 15 international awards and Magic of the Mountains that was named Best Nature Film Of The Year at the Sestriere Film Festival in 2011. As early as 2004, Otmar wrote a first concept for a film about a Golden Eagle, that would later become Brothers Of The Wind.
