Chris Paine

Chris Paine is a writer/director best known for his seminal documentaries Who Killed the Electric Car? and Revenge of the Electric Car which tracked the birth of Tesla Motors.  In addition to Bikes vs. Cars with WG Films in Sweden, he executive produced Faster! and Charge! featuring Ewan McGregor and No Maps for These Territories about science fiction futurist William Gibson.

Chris serves on the board of directors of Friends of the Earth in Washington and the Clean Air Coalition in Los Angeles.  Chris has appeared on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as well as in many conferences and national news programs.

Chris is currently directing a documentary about the future of artificial intelligence.
