After a two-year master’s degree specialized in copyright law, Emmanuel Otayek started to work for the International Environmental Film Festival (Fife) in Paris in 2013. The Fife presents every year a hundred films which tackle several themes relating to the environment (ecology, sustainable development, climate change, social issues, etc.). Emmanuel Otayek began as programming coordinator. Up to the 2015 edition he helped to make the selection of the feature-length films, viewing and choosing from a wide selection of films. Now he remains coordinator but also in charge of the feature-length documentaries selected in the out-of-competition section. This section is organized in thematics which, for the 2016 edition, are as follows: Brazil, waste, water, and positive initiatives.
