Director Peter Nelson has been a Director of Photography for the past 27 years and has a diverse body of work including documentaries, feature films and commercials. The Pollinators is his feature debut as a director. Select feature credits include the Emmy Award winning documentary Art & Copy, Michael Moore’s, Sicko; Pipe Dream, and the cult New York romantic comedy Ed’s Next Move. Peter has done domestic and international documentary work for PBS, HBO, National Geographic, Discovery and the BBC. His short film, Dance of the Honey Bee had its broadcast premiere on PBS. Commercial work includes campaigns for IBM, Google, SNHU, Black Rock, ESPN/NASCAR and many others. Peter received a BFA in Film and Television from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. A passion for nature and documentaries keeps leading him back to explore the intersection between people and the natural world around us.
