Zane Moore

Zane Moore recently completed his PhD in redwood genetics at the University of California, Davis and received a bachelors in botany from Colorado State University. He loves to teach students about biology, specifically plant and fungal evolutionary genetics. He studies mutations within old redwoods to understand the development and evolution of the trees. One such mutation, albino redwoods, have been an area of interest to Zane for more than a decade.
