Kate Meyer

Roles: Special Guest

Kate Meyer is a USDA Forest Service fisheries biologist on the Willamette National Forest in Oregon, where she has dedicated over 10 years to the recovery of spring Chinook salmon and bull trout through habitat conservation and restoration. Restoration projects she has designed and implemented focus on reestablishing adequate amounts of wood and properly functioning floodplains and riparian areas in watersheds that have been heavily managed in the past and impacted by dams. She is fortunate to work on the gorgeous McKenzie River with co-workers and partners who share her love and passion for healthy watersheds and the critters that depend on them.
