Kathy Baughman McLeod is Senior Vice President, Global Environmental & Social Risk Executive for Bank of America. Kathy leads the Bank’s climate risk disclosure efforts and leverages the bank’s global reach to advance climate smart, low carbon and resilience investments, helping to reach the Bank’s commitment of deploying $125 billion in capital by 2025.
In her prior role as Managing Director, Climate Risk & Resilience for The Nature Conservancy, Kathy led a global team of 50 scientists, policy experts and financial specialists focused on using natural infrastructure to reduce storm and flood risk throughout Latin America, Australia, Asia, The U.S. and the Caribbean.
A published author and award-winning producer of the documentary film series, The Nature of People, which was screened in last year’s DCEFF, Kathy regularly serves as a subject matter expert for local and national media. Kathy holds an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, an MS in Geography, and a BS in International Affairs from Florida State University.
