Martha Holmes, executive producer of National Geographic’s Hostile Planet, has overseen wildlife production from numerous series, including Wild Britain and Lion Country: Night and Day. She launched the ambitious Camp Zambia model and is across Plimsoll Productions’ ambitious live wildlife output Yellowstone Live and Earth Live. Holmes has a PhD in marine biology, and since joining Plimsoll Productions from the BBC Natural History Unit, where her credits included the multi award- winning Life and Blue Planet, she has won a string of various commissions, including working within some of the most inhospitable places on the planet for Davina McCall: Life at the Extreme and Predators with Joel Lambert and a definitive study of felines in The Story of Cats. Holmes also has embraced the world of our favorite pets with Dogs: The Untold Story and Puppy Secrets: The First Months.
