Gary Marcuse

Gary Marcuse is an independent journalist and filmmaker based in Vancouver, Canada. With background in environmental planning and fine arts, he has written and directed several films about the emergence of environmental movements around the world. His filmography includes Walking the Green Tiger (2011), Arktika: The Russian Dream That Failed (2004), Nuclear Dynamite (2000), and First Nations, the Circle Unbroken (1993), among others. He is a former programming executive for CBC Television in Vancouver (2004-2008) and the former chair of the Documentary Organization of Canada.
