Anurag Mantha

Anurag Mantha is a PhD student in Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Virginia Tech. Anurag has a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from India and a master’s in Environmental Engineering from Virginia Tech. His research interests lie in the field of drinking water. He has research experience in drinking water treatment and his master’s research was related to treating hexavalent chromium from drinking water. As part of his PhD, he is studying water infrastructure in the built environment, with a focus on hot water systems and premise plumbing and is working to optimize systems for energy performance while protecting public health.
