Zach Lowe

Zach Lowe has spent his career at the intersection of communications and social change. He is the Director of Communications for Rare (@rare_org), an international conservation and sustainable development non-profit based in Arlington, Virginia and specializing in behavior change. Prior to his work at Rare, Zach served as Press Secretary to former U.S. Senator Russ Feingold (D-WI), an environmental and conservation champion. Zach also spent time in the private sector with Hattaway Communications, where he led work on a host of social change issues ranging from protecting voting rights, to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in philanthropy, to advocating for the arts. Zach lives on Capitol Hill with his wife, three children, and a dog.
