Jared Lipworth

Jared Lipworth is head of studio at HHMI Tangled Bank Studios. He directs the studio’s strategic efforts to produce world-class science content and educational outreach initiatives. Since joining the studio in 2017, Lipworth has overseen some of its most ambitious projects including the IMAX film Blue Whales: Return of the Giants 3D and the global series Wild Hope. An Emmy-winning industry veteran responsible for hundreds of hours of factual programming, Lipworth served as vice president of specials at National Geographic Studios and before that, ran the science unit at WNET in New York.
