Aaron Lemle

Aaron is an award-winning producer and director with a passion for science storytelling. He recently received his MFA in film directing from UCLA, where he wrote and directed four films, including “Bat Boy,” an Alfred P. Sloan-funded film, and “The Beautiful Colors of Jeremy Sicile-Kira,” which was nominated for a Student Academy Award and broadcast on PBS POV. He also recently produced the short film, “In the Garden of Tulips” which won an Oscar qualifying award at the St. Louis Int’l film festival and was an official selection at Aspen ShortFest, Clermont-Ferrand Int’l Film Festival, Palm Springs ShortFest, SIFF, among many others. Prior to UCLA, he was the lead producer on the Emmy-award winning PBS series, Articulate with Jim Cotter. He also worked at the National Science Foundation and the Clinically Applied Affective Neuroscience lab at Stanford University. He hopes to use film to inspire audiences to care about science and the environment.
