Alile Sharon Larkin

Alile Sharon Larkin is an African American filmmaker best know for her films The Kitchen (1975), Your Children Come Back to You (1979), and Dreadlocks and the Three Bears (1991). She was born in Chicago in 19533 broke a lot barriers as a black female director in Hollywood. Today, Larkin is working on a film called Tie-Dye which celebrates the lives of black children through the differing types of black music genres from around the world.
