Lance Kramer

Lance is a co-founder of MHP and multi-disciplinary storyteller with a background in documentary filmmaking, education, journalism, and community organizing. Lance is the producer of the feature-length documentary City of Trees (2015), co-producer of feature-length documentary Voices From Within (2015), an associate field producer of the Al Jazeera America documentary series Hard Earned (2015, produced by Kartemquin Films). A respected arts leader in the DC documentary community, Lance received the 2014 DC Mayor’s Arts Award, has served two terms as Board Member of Docs in Progress, and was a DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities Individual Arts Fellow in 2015. Lance holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Dartmouth College.
