Alex Kragie

Alex Kragie was most recently the Deputy Chief of Staff at the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP). At DEEP, he helped lead the effort to create the first-in-the-nation Connecticut Green Bank, as well as overseeing the nation’s first statewide microgrid program, the Lead by Example state building energy efficiency program, and the EV Connecticut electric vehicle program. Alex was previously the Vice President of the Coalition for Green Capital, a national non-profit focused on creating green banks for financing clean energy projects. He also worked on the 2008 Obama Presidential Campaign and the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition Team.
