John Kirby began his career as a film researcher and assistant editor on Blowback Productions’ Columbia-DuPont Silver Baton-winning CIA: America’s Secret Warriors for Discovery Channel. He has since edited, produced and directed for a number of broadcast outlets and independents, including editing and field producing the cult HBO classic Gladiator Days: Anatomy of A Prison Murder. The American Ruling Class, a dramatic-documentary musical marked Kirby’s directorial debut. He has also directed and produced Cape Spin: An American Power Struggle.
