Jay Feldman

Jay has a 38-year history of working with communities nationwide on toxics and organic land management policies that maintain ecological balance and protect biodiversity. Jay has successfully fought to stop use of some of the most hazard chemicals and helped advance policies at the local, state, and federal level that restrict pesticides, adopt worker protection standards, and advance organic and sustainable practices. In 2010, he was appointed by the Obama administration to a 5-year appointment to the National Organic Standards Board. He currently serves on the board of the National Organic Coalition and standards board of the Real Organic Project.
