In 2022, Katrina produced and edited the documentary “Behind the Name: James Webb Space Telescope” for the JustSpace Alliance, a nonprofit advocating for a more inclusive and ethical future in space. The film aired on Democracy Now, and discusses experiences of LGBTQIA+ people in astronomy and why many want to change the name of NASA’s newest observatory.
