Carrie Hutchison

Carrie has more than 20 years of marketing, brand and communications experience in the nonprofit and media sectors. She was an instrumental part of the team that helped launch the Re:wild brand in 2021, and develops campaigns and strategies that help build awareness about the importance of the wild as well as enlists the support of influencers and brands aligned with Re:wild’s mission to protect and restore it.

Prior to Re:wild, Carrie was an independent consultant for organizations including Lonely Whale, Georgetown University, NPR affiliate WAMU, and National Geographic Magazine. Before consulting, she was the Director of Corporate Communications for the National Geographic Society, where she worked with executives and explorers to tell their stories through conference appearances, media, social media, donor engagement, and thought leadership. She is based in the DC area with her husband and their three children.
