Dalal Hanna

Dalal Hanna is a freshwater ecologist, science communicator, and National Geographic Explorer who works to generate the information and momentum required for society to shift toward more sustainable and equitable living. Currently, she is completing her PhD at McGill University in Canada. Her focus in on the diverse ways rivers contribute to human well-being, and how protecting rivers influences their ability to make these contributions. She is also the co-founder of Riparia, a not- for-profit that brings diverse young women on free freshwater science expeditions.
