Cassidy Hall

Roles: Producer

Cassidy Hall’s involvement in the arts began with an awe and adoration for the great mysteries of life. Her work as a writer, photographer, filmmaker, locations scout, tour manager, and counselor  — have all led her to delve into vast experiences pertaining to the unknown and uncertain aspects of life.

In 2012, while working as a counselor and reading Thomas Merton’s New Seeds of Contemplation, Cassidy quit her job in order to make a pilgrimage to the seventeen Trappist Monasteries of the United States. While on this journey Cassidy interviewed monks and nuns about silence, solitude, and contemplative life. She wrote, photographed, and transcribed parts of her experience on her website.

Born and raised in Iowa, Cassidy re-routed to Los Angeles in 2013 to work with the award-winning director Patrick Shen as a Co-Producer on his fourth feature documentary film, IN PURSUIT OF SILENCE. Cassidy’s writing is featured on The Huffington Post, Patheos, the Wilbur-Award-Winning Blog – Sick Pilgrim and her website cassidyhall.com.
