Sarah Goodwin leads the Science Communication Lab (SCL) as Executive Director, guiding collaborations between scientists and filmmakers to create award-winning films that bring clarity, nuance, and humanity to science. Under her direction, SCL has become an internationally recognized hub for science-driven storytelling. Among her recognitions, she was Producer and Lead Science Advisor on the Emmy-nominated Human Nature (2019) and received the National Academies’ Eric and Wendy Schmidt Award for Excellence in Science Communications (2023). She is an Executive Producer of Observer.
