Tereza Gemeranová

Tereza Gemeranová is the Director of Programming of the International Festival of Sustainable Development Films – Ekotopfilm, based in Slovakia. She finished her studies in Marketing Communications in Bratislava, where she first started to take interest in sustainability while focusing both her theses on packaging design, where she stressed the importance of environment protection and new sustainable ways of product packaging. She then started her part-time job at a producer responsibility organization, where she worked on a corporate social responsibility project. Since 2014 she’s with the festival team, being responsible for the programming and foreign affairs. One of her greatest moments was to guide Dr. Jane Goodall as the laureate of the Honour of Ekotopfilm prize at the Ekotopfilm festival in 2016.
