Dr. Sloane Kali Faye

Sloane Kali Faye is the Outreach and Marketing Director of Federal Strategies at Race Forward. Previously she worked as a racial equity strategist providing content, program design, and advising to public and private sector clients. Faye also served as the inaugural Director of Inclusive Economies at B Lab, where she designed the organization’s first justice, equity, diversity, and belonging strategy for 1,500+ companies across the United States and Canada, as well as spearheaded the North America team’s overall theory of change. As a writer, her work has appeared in various publications including Salon, Al Jazeera, The BBC, Black Enterprise, AfroPunk, PolicyLink, and 2030.

Faye is a 2021 Aspen Words Fellow and a recipient of The OpEd Project’s Write to Change the World scholarship. She also won B Lab’s Inclusivity Award. Faye has a PhD in Sociology from the University of Maryland, College Park. Originally from Illinois, she now lives in New York.
