Emily Wathen

Emily Wathen is an active filmmaker and digital artist with both documentary production and new media consulting experience. Her clients and past employers include PROJECT: ICE (documentary), Nautical Channel, USAID, Americans for the Arts, Center for American Progress, EarthShare, Broadview TV, Arts for the Aging, and Campaigns & Elections Magazine.

Emily completed her MFA in photography and electronic media at the Maryland Institute College of Art and her BFA in film art at Syracuse University. Emily also completed a film studies program at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.

Emily currently works as a freelance cinematographer, photographer and producer in Washington, DC.
