Sara Elbanna is a writer and researcher based in New York. Alongside her written work, she has used various mediums to explore the blurred boundaries between the body and nonhuman elements. She is interested in focusing on local stories close to her that touch on themes of colonialism, capitalism, and the environmental crisis. Currently, she is working on her first film, a personal project about her father and his relationship with their ancestral land in rural Egypt.
